"I could write my name by the age of three, and I don't need anyone to cut my meat for me. I'm a big girl now, see my big girl shoes. It'll take more than just a breeze to make me fall over, fall over, fall overboard, overboard. Fall overboard just so you can catch me."

Moving. On.

Sadly, I must delete this blog. It is a new school year, and this one has lost its purpose and is interfering with my journal on blogger .....
I have my list of resolutions and such for the school year and thus, as one is becoming a vegetarian, and exercising 2-3 hours a day....i will be starting a blog about that....because i dislike exercising and love meat....soooo, adios! and to my 3 followers, please follow my new one :):)

{life's a vapor}

(papaw and mamaw, about 1.5 months ago)

I think i spelled vapor wrong, but what does that matter.

Monday at 9:45am, my Papaw, David Elmer Harry Lay, died and went to Heaven, that started a rush to make the 8 hour drive to the valley of a mountain in West Virginia where he, my Mamaw, and my Uncle, Aunt, and their family live. though, the occasion was sad, it was wonderful seeing all my family, especially my older brother Michael (30) and sister Sara (25). They are my half-siblings and i've just been getting to know my sister. and of course my brother is so much older, we were never really close.. But they came up and rather than spending their time with their mom (they were staying at her house) they stayed with our family the whole time.. It was cool cuz we got past the "hows it goin" conversations and really got to know them better.. Papaw's funeral service was beautiful. i think he would have loved it.

anyways, Papaw I love you, and will see you on the other side.

I have more to say since its been several days, but will do so later.

Movin on..

This morning my parents got te dreaded call saying that my Papaw (my dad's dad) was close to the end...He has been sick for awhile, and it look slike hes gonna go on to see his Lord soon. He is such an incredible man, I will miss him, and will write more about him as soon as I can, but now I have to go pack and get ready to go on the 8 hour roadtrip.

Oh, Glee...

This weekend, well, lets just say I have felt incredibly Patriotic. I love the Fourth of July. Also, yesterday morning I ordered a Holga Multicolor camera... I will be here in 5-10 business days.

I. Can't. Wait. Yesterday, I accidentally took a nap on the couch, and dreamt about taking pictures with my holga. Next on my list is a Polariod, a Diana Dreamer, a fancy photographer's camera, and a Russian camera. I'm excited!

My family has been certifiably (sp?) insane this week, eh, well, more than normal, so, ya know, it hasn't been a favorite week.
On the bright side, I'm almost done cutting out everything for my collage and an going to Home Depot this afternoon to get Wallpaper glue...The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal are going to act as the wallpaper, I'm pretty sure it will be awesome!
